On Saturday, September 6, KC and Amy participated in the 2025 Pikes Peak Challenge!
While we got the news that this year’s participants wouldn’t be allowed to summit the mountain, that didn’t stop them. KC and Amy decided to hike the Barr Camp trail, keeping the spirit of the challenge alive. Halfway through the hike they even provided Cheez-Its for all the hikers, which really helped to keep them going.
The hike itself was beautiful. Picture taking was a must to capture the unforgettable views. However, what made the day special wasn’t just the trail, it was the people and the purpose behind every step.
A big thank you to everyone who donated, shared our link, and supported the cause. In the end, we were able to raise $1,670 in total donations! All proceeds will go to supporting the survivors of brain injuries and their families.
We may not have reached the summit this year, but we hope to next year. We’re already counting down the days until the next summit!
