Supporting a Mission of Compassion at True Companions

On May 7, our team had the incredible opportunity to volunteer at True Companions Animal Shelter & Clinic, and it was truly such a rewarding experience.

Formerly known as MaxFund, True Companions is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing adoption services and medical care for injured, abused, and abandoned animals with no known owners. Guided by a No Kill philosophy, they continue to support the community through compassionate shelter programs and advanced veterinary care.

During our visit, we were able to assist with preparations for their upcoming Golf Fundraiser on May 18 by assembling gift baskets and event displays. We also helped with daily shelter tasks such as dishes and laundry to ensure everything was clean, organized, and ready for the animals in their care.

One of the highlights of the day came after our volunteer work was complete, when we were given the opportunity to spend time with a group of puppies that had recently arrived at the shelter. The puppies came from a litter of 14 and were preparing to become available for adoption. Getting the chance to interact and play with them was incredibly special and made the experience even more meaningful for our team.
