News: Pedestrian struck, killed in crash on Peoria St.

AURORA, CO – A man was fatally struck by a vehicle in Aurora late last night.

According to 9 News, the incident occurred at the intersection of Peoria Street and East Montview Boulevard at about 10:19 p.m.

Police say the victim, an unidentified man, was hi by a 2012 Dodge Ram pickup truck driven by a 21-year-old man while crossing the intersection.

The Dodge driver stayed at the scene and fully cooperated with officers. Police have determined that neither speed nor alcohol played a role in the accident.
