LAIRMER CO., CO – A motorcyclist was killed Tuesday night when an SUV struck him at an intersection in south Fort Collins, reports The Denver Gazette.
The crash took place at about 8 p.m. The motorcyclist was driving his 2008 Honda CBR600 westbound on West Horsetooth Road when he was hit by a Jeep Cherokee making a left-hand turn from Windmill Drive.
The rider was pronounced dead at the scene despite life-saving measures by first responders. His identity is unavailable at this time.
No additional injuries were reported.
