EL PASO CO., CO – A driver was taken into custody following a deadly hit-and-run near I-25 in Colorado Springs on Thursday.
According to CBS News, two pedestrians were hit in the area of N. Spruce Street and W. Bijou Street sometime before 7 p.m.

Both victims, later identified as parole officers, were taken to an area hospital, where one of them was pronounced dead. The condition of the second victim is unclear at this time.
The driver, later identified as 41-year-old Justin Andrew Kula, was located and taken into custody later on Thursday night.
