THORNTON, CO – First responders took a man to an area hospital after he was struck by a driver of a black sedan who then fled the scene in the Eastlake area Saturday.
Thornton Police responded to the scene, the westbound 120th Avenue and Washington Street junction, just before 9 p.m.

Police shut down the intersection and reopened it a short time later.
