THORNTON, CO – A driver of a vehicle struck a man crossing East 104th Avenue and Marion Street, leading the pedestrian to die from his injuries Wednesday.
Thornton Police reported this incident before 11:45 a.m. They shut down the intersection to launch their investigation and for the scene clearance procedure. Due to this closure, motorists in the area were advised to use Washington Street, 112th, or 100th Ave as alternative routes.

The driver who hit the man remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
