News: Crews respond to collision with injuries on I-225 in east Denver

DENVER, CO – First responders were called to the scene of a crash with reported injuries in east Denver during this morning’s rush-hour.

According to Denver 7 Traffic, the crash took place in the northbound lanes of I-225 near the exit to 6th Avenue at about 8 a.m.

The number of those injured in the crash is unclear at this time; however, paramedics were called to the scene.

The accident caused significant delays for commuters in the area, particularly those approaching from Parker Road. All lanes have since reopened.
