EAGLE, CO – Significant traffic delays were reported Tuesday afternoon following a crash on I-70 just outside of Eagle, according to Colorado DOT.
The crash took place at about 12:40 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of the interstate, between US-6 and Eby Creek Road.

The nature of the crash remains unclear as of this writing. However, all eastbound lanes were closed in the area for some time afterwards while crews worked to clear the scene.
