DENVER, CO – A driver hit a pedestrian south of Rude Park, resulting in the pedestrian sustaining serious wounds Thursday.
This collision was reported before 12:30 p.m. at the West 10th Avenue & Federal Boulevard junction, according to Denver Police. The driver remained at the scene. No pending charges were mentioned.

Police have closed the north and southbound directions of Federal. The drivers approaching the area may want to consider alternative routes, as it is unclear when all lanes will reopen.
