In April of 2022, our client sustained a severe traumatic brain injury (TBI) after falling down a dangerous staircase at a business in Breckenridge. Our investigation determined that the property’s landlord was warned about the staircase, but ignored the warning in favor of making its renovations cheaper and faster. Our client was left in a coma, but he’s relearned how to walk, talk, eat, and perform other daily functions. His perseverance has been nothing short of inspiring, but the injury still affects him today.

Traumatic brain injuries don’t always appear on imaging (like MRI or CT scans).
