Julie cares about people and their experiences, works relentlessly for her clients, and helps the team at Dormer Harpring to get the best results possible.
Julie was born and raised in Menasha, WI. She attended the University of Wisconsin–Madison, graduating in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies and a minor in Criminal Justice. After spending a summer interning within the Wisconsin prison system, she began her legal career that fall, working for three years as a legal assistant at a large personal injury firm in Madison. It was there that she discovered her passion for helping people whose lives had been upended by unforeseen injury.
In 2019, Julie and her then-fiancé (now husband) moved to Colorado, a place they’d both fallen in love with after years of visiting. That’s when she joined Dormer Harping as a personal injury paralegal. In fall 2020, Julie and her husband relocated back to Wisconsin to be closer to family during the pandemic, and she now continues her work with the firm fully remote.
Outside the office, Julie enjoys hiking with her husband and dogs, Tenney and Breezy. She’s an avid reader who also loves yoga, cooking, gardening, and spending time with family.
