GREELEY, CO – Two women’s lives were claimed in a single-vehicle crash that took place on Weld County Road 33 on the outskirts of Greeley on Tuesday.
According to KDVR, a woman driving a Lincoln MKC had run a stop sign. She drifted off the road and crashed into a fence. She went airborne before crashing into a tree and drifting off the road.
The driver, 22, from Kansas City, and her female passenger, 19, from Arkansas City, Kansas, died from their injuries. Two other passengers, a male teenager and a boy, survived.
The boy was left with unspecified injuries, and the teenager with serious injuries.
The Weld County Coroner’s Office will release the victims’ names pending notification of next of kin.
