AURORA, CO – A woman was hospitalized for serious injuries after a rear-end crash that happened on I-70 near Airport Boulevard on Thursday.
KDVR said the crash occurred after the woman, driving a vehicle, rear-ended a box truck. The force of the collision caused the woman’s vehicle to be wedged underneath. The woman was confirmed to be the “at-fault driver.”
The Colorado Department of Transportation was summoned to the scene and closed the westbound portion of the freeway just before 9 a.m.
No other injuries were reported.
