LONE TREE, CO – A 77-year-old woman crossing Lone Tree Parkway and Lincoln Avenue lost her life on Wednesday morning after getting hit by a vehicle.
Lone Tree police told The Denver Post the walker got hit in the westbound directions. EMS crews conducted CPR on the walker before rushing her to a hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.
The driver, 32, stayed at the scene. It is unclear if they will face citations or charges.
Officials closed Lincoln Avenue and have reopened it since.
