News Update: Truck found after Platt Park hit-and-run, Denver PD says

DENVER, CO – As of Wednesday, Denver Police confirmed they found the pickup truck driven by a hit-and-run suspect who caused a crash last Saturday, March 1 in Platt Park.

The pickup truck was a green Dodge Ram with black stripes. Authorities said the suspect was operating this vehicle when they hit a motorcyclist at the intersection of South Broadway and East Iowa Avenue. After the truck struck the motorcycle, the bike was pushed forward and hit a pedestrian.

The suspect failed to render aid and drove away.

The motorcyclist and pedestrian were left in serious condition.

Denver Police have yet to find the suspect themself and are asking the public for help. Anyone who knows the suspect or their whereabouts is asked to contact the police department immediately. Members of the public may be entitled to a $2,000 reward if they can provide relevant information that leads to an arrest.
