News Update: Scooter rider dies after North Capitol crash, police say

DENVER, CO – As of Wednesday, Denver police have confirmed a scooter rider, who was initially in serious condition, has since died after a crash last Sunday, May 4.

New details from Denver 7 indicate the driver was allegedly impaired when he struck the scooter rider around 9 p.m. in the 700 block of East Colfax Avenue.

EMS crews rushed the scooter rider to a hospital, where she later died. Officials have since identified her as 44-year-old Anna Fierro and said she operated a standup electric scooter.

The driver remained at the scene. Police later identified him as 35-year-old Kedrick Feldon and arrested and charged him with vehicular homicide.

Officers are still working to determine whether Feldon was intoxicated while operating his vehicle at the time of the crash.
