News UPDATE: Denver PD releases description of suspect’s vehicle in Glendale hit-and-run

DENVER, CO – Denver police released a description of the suspect’s vehicle that was involved in a hit-and-run crash in the Glendale neighborhood on Tuesday.

Police said the suspect was driving a 2022 to 2026 Hyundai Ioniq 5 when they struck a pedestrian crossing the intersection of East Alameda Avenue and South Dahlia Street.

The collision happened before 5:30 p.m. and left the pedestrian in serious condition.

Police said the suspect’s vehicle is a light color and is said to have sustained minor to moderate damage on the front bumper, hood, and windshield.

The driver did not stop, render aid to the victim, or leave their car insurance and driver’s information.

Anyone who knows the suspect and their whereabouts is urged to contact the police immediately.
