ERIE, CO – A 2-year-old toddler was killed in a hit-and-run collision that occurred outside of Colorado National Golf Club on Sunday, Denver 7 reports. 

The crash happened before 5:45 p.m. in the area of Mountain View Boulevard and Village Vista Drive. The driver who struck the toddler fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival. 

Police conducted life-saving measures on the young child. Despite their best efforts, they died from their injuries at the scene.
