THORNTON, CO – Thornton police are investigating the details behind a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian that happened east of Northstar Park Monday.

The crash took place at 7:15 p.m. at the intersection of westbound 88th Avenue and Grant Street. Upon arrival, officers and crews issued closures. They told commuters to avoid the area and seek alternative routes as personnel worked to clear the scene.
