DENVER, CO – Alana Thompson, from the former reality hit TLC TV show “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo,” got into a T-bone car accident in Denver last Friday, Sept. 26.

June Shannon “Mama June”, Thompson’s mother, said in a social media post that the crash happened after a man, going an estimated 40 mph, had struck the side of her daughter’s car, according to WAVY. Shannon said her daughter was on her way to a hair salon when the crash occurred. Shannon claimed the other driver was distracted when he struck Thompson.

It’s unclear if Thompson went to a hospital to receive treatment for her injuries, but Shannon did say she was “a bit banged up” and recovering from her injuries at home.

Denver police have not released a formal statement on Friday’s collision or announced any arrests.

The exact crash location was not shared.
