News: Suspect sought in West Denver hit-and-run

WEST DENVER, CO – Denver Police are searching for a hit-and-run suspect responsible for causing a crash in the West Barnum area around 7:30 p.m. last Thursday, Jan. 16. 

Police said the suspect had proceeded through the intersection of West Alameda Avenue and North Federal Boulevard when they ran over a pedestrian. The driver did not render aid and continued driving east. 

Officers believe the fleeing driver was operating a dark-colored Nissan SUV, which may have sustained damage. They urge the public to reach out to the police department immediately with any information regarding the hit-and-run.
