News: Speer Blvd. closes after car overturns and crashes, Denver PD says

DENVER, CO – A car crashed and overturned at the intersection of Speer Boulevard and Broadway, prompting Denver police to shut down the area Thursday.

Police first announced the rollover crash at 6:48 a.m. and said they closed the northbound lanes along Lincoln Street so crews could clean up the debris from the collision and remove the impacted vehicle. Officials advised drivers to seek alternative routes.

Officers have not specified the exact cause of the crash, but did confirm that the individuals involved were spared from injuries.
