NEAR GOLDEN, CO – Life-threatening injuries were reported in a two-vehicle collision that happened on U.S. 6 before 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, CBS News reports.
Authorities consisted of at least one sheriff’s office vehicle and multiple EMS vehicles. They partially closed Highway 6 in both directions to allow a medical helicopter to land.
Officials have reopened Highway 6 from Golden to CO-119. As of 5:00 p.m., Highway 6 between Interstate 70 and CO-119 remains closed.
Lae enforcement has not yet disclosed the number of people injured, specified how the collision unfolded, or announced any citations.
