MORRISON, CO – A semi-truck jackknifed and partially crashed into Soda Lakes after being pushed by strong winds on Thursday.
West Metro Fire told Denver7Traffic that the truck driver was traveling on CO 470 when he lost control of the truck due to the strong winds, causing him to leave the road and crash his truck near Morrison Road.
Fire & EMS personnel confirmed the driver was spared from injuries. The truck is affiliated with SAIA LTL Freight. The company has not publicly commented on the specifics of this crash.
