News: Scooter rider seriously hurt in hit-and-run along Cheesman Park

DENVER, CO – A scooter rider was left in serious condition after they were struck by a hit-and-run suspect driving a sedan along Cheesman Park Tuesday.

The collision happened before 7:45 p.m. at the intersection of East 13th Avenue and High Street, according to Denver Police.

Officers said the suspect was driving west on 13th Avenue in the right lane. They believe the individual was operating a white or gray-colored vehicle. Anyone who has more information on the hit-and-run or knows the suspect’s whereabouts is urged to contact the police department immediately.

Anyone who can provide details that led to an arrest may be entitled to a $2,000 reward.
