LAKEWOOD, CO – A driver of a white pickup truck struck another vehicle, leading them to slam into a brick house along O’Kane Park last Thursday, Jan. 16.
This crash took place around 7 p.m. off the intersection of Pierce Street and West 1st Avenue, KDVR reports. The impact left significant damage to the home, such as a significant hole in the exterior side and a large portion of the home’s floor being taken out.
West Metro Fire Rescue responded to the scene. Fire crews said the pickup truck driver and their dog, the home occupants, and the other motorist were all unharmed.
Authorities did not say if and when a building inspector showed up. It’s unclear if the home’s structural integrity was compromised and if the residents were displaced.
