NORTH DENVER, CO – A pedestrian was left in serious condition as a result of a hit-and-run crash north of the Denver Zoo on Tuesday.
Denver police first reported the crash at 12:43 a.m., saying it happened at the intersection of North Colorado Boulevard and Bruce Randolph Avenue.

The driver who struck the pedestrian did not render aid or call 911 and left prior to the emergency responders’ arrival.
An ambulance transported the pedestrian to a hospital for treatment.
