DENVER, CO – A pedestrian was left in serious condition following a hit-and-run collision that took place in the Glendale area after 6 p.m. Tuesday.
The pedestrian was struck by a vehicle while crossing the intersection of East Alameda Avenue and Dahlia Street, according to Denver police. The driver did render aid or call 911 and immediately fled the scene.

EMS crews were dispatched to the scene and transported the pedestrian to a hospital for treatment.
Officials shut down westbound Alameda Avenue for the scene clean-up process and overall investigation.
Police have not provided a description of the suspect or their vehicle.
