SOUTHWEST DENVER, CO – A pedestrian was seriously hurt after getting hit by a vehicle in the 1000th block of Ames Street west of Dry Gulch Park Thursday morning.

Denver police and EMS crews arrived at the scene before 7:15 a.m. Ambulance crews rushed the pedestrian to a nearby hospital for treatment.

First responders have not been able to comment on the extent of injuries the pedestrian sustained or confirmed if the driver was at fault.

No citations or criminal charges have been reported at this time.
