DENVER, CO – A pedestrian was hospitalized for serious injuries after getting hit by an on-coming vehicle in Villa Park Monday, Denver police said.

The collision took place before 1:45 a.m. near the intersection of West 14th Avenue and Winona Court. After arriving, police officers closed the intersection to accommodate the scene clearance process.
Officials told commuters to seek alternative routes if possible.
