News: Pedestrian fatally struck by vehicle in West Denver

DENVER, CO – A pedestrian lost their life after they were fatally struck by a vehicle at the westbound 6th Avenue and North Sheridan Boulevard connector Friday.

The collision took place before 3:30 a.m., according to an X post from Denver police. After arriving, police told commuters to use North Sheridan Boulevard as an alternative route. Additional alternative routes were also encouraged.

Officers confirmed that the driver remained at the scene and did not classify this crash as a hit-and-run. At this time, police are continuing to investigate all contributing factors that led to the collision.
