News: Pedestrian fatally struck by vehicle in Lakewood

LAKEWOOD, CO – A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle while walking on South Kipling Parkway, south of West Jewell Avenue, on Thursday.

Lakewood police first reported the crash at 6:48 a.m. Officers confirmed the driver remained at the scene, so this was not categorized as a hit-and-run crash.

Authorities closed some lanes before reopening all lanes at 9:23 a.m.
