LAKEWOOD, CO – A pedestrian died after getting hit by a car while crossing the intersection of South Wadsworth Boulevard and West Eastman Place on Friday.
The pedestrian collision happened after 6 a.m., prompting a response from Lakewood police and lane closures that were still in effect by 8:21 a.m., according to Denver7.
Police confirmed that the driver stayed at the scene and showed no signs of alcohol or drugs in their system. At this time, no charges have been filed against the driver.
