News: Officials close majority of U.S. 36 in Broomfield due to vehicle accident

BROOMFIELD, CO – First responders had to shut down a majority of U.S. 36 due to a Thursday morning vehicle accident. 

Jayson Luber, Denver 7 Traffic’s leading traffic expert, first announced the crash at 7:57 a.m., saying it took place on the westbound lanes.

Only one lane stayed open to accommodate the flow of traffic. 

At least three fire trucks were at the scene of the crash. 

No injuries or citations have been reported.
