DENVER, CO – According to Denver 7, officials have issued a Medina Alert for the hit-and-run driver who killed a pedestrian on southbound Interstate 25 near West Alameda Avenue on Saturday.

The driver of a black 2016 Toyota 4Runner was heading south on Interstate 25 when they hit a pedestrian changing a tire on the right shoulder around 7 a.m. The victim died in the collision.

According to the alert, the 4Runner now has damage to the passenger doors and is missing the front passenger panel. They have a Colorado license plate ARFH65 and a “CU” sticker on the rear window.

Authorities urge anyone with information concerning the incident to call 911 or Denver PD at 720-337-1029. Tipsters could receive a reward of up to $2,000 by contacting Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867.
