News: Male pedestrian, 40, dies in hit-and-run in Aurora

AURORA, CO – A 40-year-old man walking across North Sable Boulevard and East 2nd Avenue died when he was hit by a vehicle that fled the scene Friday.

This collision happened before 10:45 p.m. in the City Center North area, The Denver Post said. Upon arrival, Aurora Police declared the man dead at the scene and said his name would be provided by the Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office.

Officers launched an investigation and have not released additional information, which includes a description of the hit-and-run suspect and their vehicle.
