DENVER, CO – Authorities were called to a serious collision Friday morning on 6th Avenue in the Villa Park area of west Denver, according to Jayson Luber, of Denver 7 Traffic.
The accident occurred on the westbound side of the roadway, between Sheridan Boulevard and Federal Boulevard. It was first reported shortly before 7:10 a.m.
While the cause and nature of the crash remains unclear, only a single travel lane was open at the time of the initial report.
Shortly before 7:30 a.m., about 20 minutes later, the scene had been cleared from the roadway and all lanes were reopened to the public.
