JEFFERSON COUNTY, CO – First responders were summoned to two separate collisions that involved drivers crashing into buildings last Friday, Jan 17.
The two crashes happened within less than an hour of each other, according to KDRV.
The first accident occurred at 8:30 a.m. in the area of 37th Avenue and Parfet Street in Wheat Ridge. An SUV driver lost control of their vehicle and hit a brick apartment building. No significant damage was noted. As shown in the source’s photo, some pieces of brick fell off and one window fell apart.
The second collision happened around 9 a.m. off South Wadsworth Boulevard and West Coal Mine Avenue. One driver collided with another vehicle, leading one to plow through an ST Bank.
The bank was left without one of its large windows, and the gray Toyota sustained moderate rear-end damage to the left side.
Despite the nature of these collisions, all occupants were spared from injuries.
It is unclear if last week’s snowy and icy road conditions played a part in these crashes.
