LAKEWOOD, CO – The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office had to shut down westbound CO 470 and Highway 285 Thursday afternoon due to a crash.
Deputies first announced the multi-vehicle collision at 2 p.m. and issued closures that lasted until 2:40 p.m., according to The Denver Post.
Lakewood police are investigating the details behind the crash and have not released additional information, including the extent of injuries and the number of people and vehicles involved.
