DENVER, CO – EMS crews rushed a pedestrian to a hospital after they got hit by an on-coming vehicle in the Barnum area Thursday night.
The collision just happened before the Lakewood City limits at the intersection of South Sheridan Boulevard and West Alameda Avenue, Denver Police said. Officers arrived at the scene before 7 p.m. They said the pedestrian was left in serious condition.

Police said the motorist remained at the scene but did not say if they cited the driver.
Officers and crews shut down eastbound Alameda and later reopened the area.
