WEST DENVER, CO – A cyclist was injured when they were struck by a driver of a vehicle along Sloan’s Lake Park in West Denver Monday night.
Denver police were dispatched to the intersection of West 17th Avenue and Winona Court after 6 p.m. Upon arrival, crews shut down the area for the scene clearance process.

At the time of the reporting, police told commuters to expect delays as the investigation continued.
Officers have not been able to confirm the events that led to the collision or comment on the extent of the cyclist’s sustained injuries.
