DENVER, CO – A pedestrian died from their injuries after getting hit by a vehicle along Sloan’s Lake Saturday, according to Denver police.
#TRAFFIC: #DPD is investigating a fatal hit and run crash near W 17th Ave / N Sheridan Blvd involving a motorist and a pedestrian. The pedestrian was pronounced deceased. SHERIDAN IS CLOSED BOTH DIRECTIONS AT 17th AVE.

Police said the collision happened before 10:45 p.m. at the intersection of West 17th Avenue and North Sheridan Boulevard. Law enforcement declared the pedestrian dead at the scene.
Officials shut down Sheridan Boulevard along 17th Avenue for the scene clearance process.
Police initially said the crash was a hit-and-run, but later confirmed that the driver stayed at the scene.
No charges were announced.
