News: Cyclist seriously hurt after getting hit by car in Denver’s Barnum

DENVER, CO – A cyclist was left in serious condition after they were struck by a vehicle in the Barnum area Tuesday night.

Denver Police and EMS crews arrived at the intersection of South Julian Street and West Bayaud Avenue before 6:30 p.m. Upon arrival, officials closed eastbound Bayaud along Julian for the scene clearance process.

Officers confirmed the driver remained at the scene and have not announced any citations or criminal charges at this time.
