News: Crews clear vehicle accident on Peña Boulevard near Denver Int. Airport

DENVER, CO – Transportation crews cleared the scene of a vehicle accident that occurred on Peña Boulevard past 56th Avenue just before 7 a.m.

According to Jayson Luber, from Denver 7 Traffic, it took crews nearly an hour to clear the scene of the crash, resulting in some traffic delays that could be seen towards I-70.

At this point, commuters should not have to deal with any congested traffic delays if they are heading to the airport. Regardless, drivers are urged to proceed with caution as first responders are preparing to leave the scene of the accident.

The exact cause of the crash, the number of people and vehicles involved, and the extent of injuries have not been disclosed.
