Preliminary details show that a driver of a vehicle rear-ended the police car, which was parked on the shoulder with the emergency lights activated.

The civilian car caught on fire as a result, and the police cruiser was significantly damaged. Local fire crews were able to extinguish the flames from the vehicle, and everyone involved in the crash was unharmed.
