AURORA, CO – A man driving a Ford sedan died after his car overturned upon striking an I-70 barrier Saturday, Aurora Police said.

The solo crash happened before 3 a.m. on the interstate’s eastbound lanes connecting to I-225 South. Authorities said the man succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Crews closed the area immediately after the wreck to accommodate the scene clearance procedure. DOT crews reopened all lanes after 8 a.m.
The Adams County Coroner’s Office has not released the man’s name. While an investigation has been launched, no additional information has been released.
