WESTMINSTER, CO – A city bus driver lost control of the vehicle, causing them to crash on a snowy hill located along the U.S. 36 and Sheridan Boulevard connector Wednesday.
Westminster police and fire crews responded to the scene before 7 a.m. They said the bus driver was on their way to RTD park when the crash happened. Crews were able to evacuate the six bus passengers. No one, including the bus driver, was injured.

Due to the nature of the wreck, officials closed the majority of the lanes and left at least one lane open to accommodate the flow of traffic.
Officers did not say if icy road conditions played a part in the crash.
