News: Black SUV rams into Denver home, causing major damage

DENVER, CO – A driver of a black SUV plowed into a residential building, leaving it with significant damage Monday.

The Denver Fire Department told KDVR that the collision happened along the intersection of Yampa Street and Tower Road. Fire crews first announced the wreck at 10:15 a.m. and said the structural integrity of the building was compromised. Photos from fire crews showed significantly damaged windows and a large hole in the exterior wall.

Medics inspected the two individuals involved for injuries. At this time, they have not disclosed their current physical conditions.

No police vehicles were seen at the scene. Authorities have not disclosed why the driver lost control of their vehicle and are continuing to investigate the specifics of the crash.
