DENVER, CO – Several lanes of Interstate 25 in downtown Denver were blocked during Friday morning rush hour following a crash, according to Denver 7 Traffic reporter Jayson Luber.

The accident impacted the northbound lanes of I-25 at Exit 212A to North Speer Boulevard, in the city’s Auraria area. It was first reported shortly before 6:30 a.m.

Officials have not specified the circumstances of the crash, but multiple lanes were closed at the time of the initial report.

Not long after, the scene was moved to the right lanes, but commuters were advised of long delays stretching back past Colfax Boulevard.
